Automated tracking of scientific computations
with Sumatra

Sumatra is an open-source software tool addressing reproducibility in computational research: "What parameter did I use in simulation 5?", "And how did I do that?", "It worked yesterday."; To avoid such problems, I have been using Sumatra as an "automated electronic lab-notebook" for about a year and want to report on my experience. In about 20 minutes I want to introduce the tool and show in detail how to get started. After that, Sebastian, who recently started using Sumatra himself, will show some of his hacks that might be particularly useful to you.
