Abstract:
For many electrophysiological experiments time is precious. Online analysis and visualization, automated experimental protocols, and closed-loop experimental designs, that generate stimuli based on the recorded responses, considerably improve the yield of a recording and are the basis for novel experimental designs. Relacs ("Relaxed ELectrophysiological data Acquisition, Control, and Stimulation") is a fully customizable software platform that is specifically desigend for closed-loop electrophysiological experiments. I will present examples for the use of closed-loop experiments as well as some technical details of Relacs. For more details see www.relacs.net.
The talk is open to the public. Guests are cordially invited!
