Abstract:
In Computational Neuroscience, simulations are an important tool to investigate and answer questions which are not tractable by experimental or theoretical methods. NEST is a simulator for large networks of spiking neurons. The talk will present recent performance improvements [1] and the addition of a Python frontend to NEST [2].
The talk is open to the public. Guests are cordially invited!
